"This hotel is only good for its location as it is located exactly at the back of Blok M Square. Friendly front desk staff even though i had a wrong booking they tried n fit me into the hotel. It is a busy hotel so expect noise. Opposite the hotel is the shopping mall which sell lots of clothing, watches, shoes etc. And there is a big spa nearby as well. I mostly stay in this hotel when i and my family visit Jakarta. Like it and excellent hospitality!!"

"I stayed two times. Hotel is very well central situated around Blok M but you have to support the streetnoise, the windows do'nt close very well, the water pressure is unstable and this is not pretty, the breakfast is poor quality for a Westener custumer = toast with marmelade, no egg's, no cheese, .... and the bread rooster is ready for the scrap, tables and chairs in the resto not very clean, but ... nice , flexible and helpfull staff, big clean room with good bed next time I COME BACK"

"The hotel is located in Blok M area which is an old famous shopping area in Jakarta. You can easily find good food here in the area, especially Japanese food. The hotel is your typical modern hotel with minimalist design; it is clean, sleek, and only provide what you need for resting. The room is small, but clean and bright. I found it a bit uncomfortable that the bathroom has near transparent glass windows so you can see the person's silhouette inside the bathroom. The food options for breakfast were poor, but I think it is normal for budget hotels"

"We stayed two nights at this hotel, in front of a large shopping centre. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms, although the shower wasn't working right (alternating water pressure and temperature). The breakfast was OK, good WiFi, really value for money. There is a mosque next to the hotel, and the call for the morning prayer at 4.15 a.m. can be a little loud when you're getting over your jetlag. Room Tip: We had rooms at the front of the hotel. The streetnoise was OK, because whe had the windows closed"

"I stayed at this hotel with family for two nights. I choose here because its surrounded with many restaurants or "jajanan"and beside Blok-M Square. U may choose "non breakfast" booking because u can browse many breakfast and various snacks in the morning infront of Blok-M Square parking area. This is clean hotel and we love stayed here"

"Fave Hotels has always been my first choice for budget hotels when travelling around Indonesia. The location of most of their hotels I have stayed in is always perfect. And this particular branch isn't any different. Fave Hotel Melawai is right smack in the middle of a shopping arcade, countless food stalls, and a mall. So if you intend to do some serious shopping in Blok M Square, which is right across the hotel, then this is the perfect budget hotel for you. My 2-night stay was comfortable, with standard budget hotel room amenities and standard budget hotel service"

"Stayed here for 9 days on business, I found this hotel to be perfect. Location is excellent, it is right behind a mall with direct access to Blok M terminal which will get you anywhere in Jakarta. Surrounded by shops and eateries, perfect for business and or leisure. The mall has this night food market with delicious clean food, really helped my business budget. Hotel provides basic amenities, there is a cold/hot water dispenser. What I like is that they have a laundry service, really handy for long stays. The restaurant on the first floor (not owned by hotel) can be a bit noisy from time to time, but put on your AC fan on max, and it'll go away"

"Transit in this hotel once, before continuing our trip to out of city. Room was spacious. In the middle of the biggest shopping center in Jakarta, Blok M. You can find easily everything you want. Hotel lobby is nice to stare at. Lesehan food right in front of the hotel with various traditional menu. No breakfast lounge, and using meeting room for breakfast. We can understand budget hotel"

"I was staying here for three nights in standard room with breakfast. We arrived there at 2 am due to bad traffic jam on Easter Day's night, but surprisingly the receptionist was welcoming us warmly - Mas Ifan. Oh ya and the security was attentive ..without asking he helped us to carry our luggage. The room was descent with spacious bathroom and basic amenities. On the dawn time the air conditioner got trouble with water dropping our floor, but fixed after our second calls in the afternoon. That morning we skipped breakfast but ordered room service instead. The special fried rice and Soto tangkar + rice were superb and so delicious you will not mind about the price. The breakfast was standard but maybe can be improved. The ambience in hotel was calm and peaceful, and the hotel is surrounded by Blok m Square (in front of hotel), walk a bit to Pasaraya Grande and Blok M Plaza. We could find taxi and bajaj easily, and gojek driver could find us easily too. Internet was fast. Just advice for lift maybe can be added another one just in case for peak season, and the shower chamber can be added curtain so the water will not flood the floor. Overall we had great time staying there"
