"Fave Hotel was very near pasar baru and it was easy to find via taxi. Location-wise, there's an alfamart right next to it so I could easily get anything I wanted. It is a mere 5-10 minute cab ride to the city centre where many malls and attractions were. Though the hotel was located at one of their "red light" districts, everything was still orderly and I felt safe despite being out after 10pm. The hotel staff are well-versed in English and are very professional! I also appreciated having a blue bird counter right outside the hotel where I could easily get a cab. The room was simple but sufficient! There wasn't much of a view from the room but for the price I paid, this was a great hotel beyond my expectations. - Phyllisdreamsso"
