Supporting Climate Village Program (Proklim) favehotel Solo Baru Donates Plant Seedlings

favehotel Solo (Manahan Solo and Solo Baru) donated 50 early maturing coconut seedlings to the residents of Demakan, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo in support of the Climate Village Program established by the Sukoharjo District Environment Office.

"As a private institution, we continue to assist and support government programs, such as the Climate Village Program (ProKlim) in Demakan Village, a pilot village for adapting and mitigating climate change on an ongoing basis. The handover of 50 early maturing coconut seedlings was held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Demakan Village, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, at 10:00 am - finish. M Harban Mulhadi, ST, the Head of Demakan Village, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, received the delivery of early maturing coconut seedlings directly from Khuswatus Solikhin, the Cluster Hotel Manager of favehotel Solo (Manahan Solo and Solo Baru)

The Climate Village Program (ProKlim) is a national program managed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry to increase the involvement of communities and other stakeholders to strengthen adaptive capacity to the impacts of climate change and reduce GHG emissions, and provide recognition for climate change adaptation and mitigation efforts that have been undertaken, which can improve welfare at the local level according to regional conditions.
